Game manager for educational roleplay/LARP on the EU

At Communico ApS we are looking for a coworker to manage our digitally assisted Live Action Role Plays (LARP) dealing with the EU and workers’ rights. The game is targeted towards students in secondary education.

The job is a temporary position while one of our colleagues is on parental leave. Your responsibility will primarily be aiding our Danish and foreign customers with the support and implementation of the Europe Alive educational package.

This means that you will be engaged by game management, game handover, and adapting the educational package to fit customers both at home and abroad. This involves going to schools with new customers to manage Europe Alive, but also carrying out gamemaster courses.

Furthermore, your tasks will include:

  • Customer relations

  • The introduction of customers to our booking platform

  • Planning and holding events and network meetings

  • Being part of the project development; game design, game development and game improvement

  • Helping with fundraising and tasks related to communications.

When we think of you we imagine someone who:

  • Is interested in European politics, democracy and teaching. Educational background is less important.

  • Is interested in digital education / blended learning and cooperation as a teaching strategy

  • Knows their way around a computer – you are technically proficient

  • Likes having a diverse set of tasks as well as flexibility when it comes to setting your work hours

  • Is well organised, unafraid and with a practical approach to problem solving.

  • Is okay with work related travel for about 20 days in a year.

We work on the German market quite a lot which necessitates a good command of German. Whether you speak Danish or not is less important.

Communico is a small and relaxed place of work. We share ideas and laughs and try to make room for one another. Our office is in Lydens Hus close to Planetariet – a house full of other creative people and start-ups. In our team you will be able to work independently and gain influence and practical experience with facilitation of education, fundraising and cross cultural  cooperation. You can read more about our projects on this page or at https://www.europealive.org.

Start: 01.06.2023 or as soon as possible.

If you think this could be you, send your resume and an application of no more than one page to our project manager, Maya, at maya@communico.nu. Interviews will be held continuously.
